Working Towards a More Racially Just and Effective Sentencing System

The End Mass Incarceration Project was created in July 2020 to reduce the historically unprecedented levels of incarceration in Washington and their disproportionate impact on persons of color.  That will be accomplished through changes in Washington sentencing laws as well as public education about the futility of trying to incarcerate our way to public safety.
